One of the things that you may not know about your child is that they are born with all of their primary teeth waiting to erupt, so you should begin taking care of your child’s smile right away. Of course, your child’s primary teeth are needed to help them eat and speak, but they also act as placeholders to ensure that your child’s permanent teeth erupt as they should.

We are happy to see your child for a visit to give them a chance to meet our dentists and team, see the office and become comfortable during their regular appointments. Your child’s subsequent visits will consist of a cleaning and exam to see if there are any developing issues with their smile. If necessary, we can recommend a specialist if your child is dealing with more complicated dental issues. Rest assured that we will take all of the time your child needs and will be happy to answer any questions that they may have. We will also ensure that you will are fully informed about any potential problems and that you are aware of all of your child’s treatment options. We will also talk with you and your child about how to take care of their smiles, including brushing and flossing and what kinds of snacks to avoid and enjoy.
